Yes. When you place Cladix on a support structure, it automatically creates a ventilated facade construction.
Cladix is not mounted directly on the wall, but on an aluminium or wooden support structure. This leaves an air cavity between the existing wall and the cladding.
How does this ventilation occur?
Your always mounts a support structure first in front of your facade cladding. This creates a space between the facade and the Cladix profiles.
That air cavity provides:
- Continuous air circulation
- Drainage of any penetrating moisture
- Faster drying of the underlying structure
- A more sustainable facade construction

What does this mean in practice?
Do you work with a correct support structure? Then you will automatically receive a ventilating facade.
The combination of air cavity and open profile construction provides an engineering solution that controls moisture and protects the structure.
