Cladix wall cladding is always installed on a support structure.
You screw the profiles onto this substructure, not directly onto the façade.
That also means: no pre-treatment of the existing facade required.
Provide a support structure
The first step in assembly is to place a support structure against the wall.
You choose:
- Aluminium support structure, e.g. RGL8
- or wooden support structure
This structure forms the base on which you attach the Cladix profiles.

Why a support structure?
The support structure provides:
- A stable and level surface
- Correct ventilation behind the facade
- Firm fastening of the profiles
- A durable assembly
By working with a support structure, you avoid direct contact between the cladding and the existing wall.
Fixing the Cladix profiles
After placing the support structure:
- Hook your profiles together (tooth-hook system).
- Screw them to the support structure.
- Check your alignment each time.
This is how you build the facade systematically, profile by profile.
No pretreatment required
Because Cladix comes on a separate support structure, you do not need to treat or level the existing façade first.
The support structure absorbs unevenness and ensures correct positioning.
Briefly: First the supporting structure, then the profiles.
This is how you place Cladix correctly, stably and according to the correct procedure.
