Is Cladix suitable for placement in coastal areas?

Salty sea air and aluminium: a good match? This is what you need to know before you build or renovate on the coast.

Cladix facade cladding is fitted with a Seaside A powder coating, with a rejection of at least 2 g/m². This makes the cladding suitable for normal to mildly aggressive environments.

Note: placement within a distance of 1 kilometre from the sea is strongly discouraged. The salty sea climate in this zone poses an increased risk of corrosion and affects the durability of the product. For this reason, installation within this coastal zone will void the warranty.
